What We Do

We are a community-based, church-led partnership designed to solve the Central Florida foster care problem. We do this by training and supporting local churches to meet the need for foster families and volunteer support in their community.

The foster care problem today can be defined by three words:

• Capacity: there are not enough foster families around the country for the number of children who need one.

• Stability: children in the foster care system will transition to four different foster homes on average per year; and the average foster family will only remain a licensed foster home for one year due to the lack of support, training, spiritual guidance, and pastoral care offered to the family.

• Quality: we need enough foster families so that when a child comes into foster care we can match a child’s needs with a family’s strengths, providing the most responsive environment to the child.

We work with local churches to recruit, train, and support the foster families within their congregation. are positioned to grow, recruit and minister to foster families and support families in Central Florida.  We need your help. The needs are great, and the workers are few. Not all are called to foster, but absolutely everyone can do something!
